There were two confirmed deaths in Fraknlin County and one in Johnson County, said Renee Perslar, deputy public information offiecr at the Araknsas Department of Emergecny Management.
Johnson County Sheriff Jimmy Dorney said there was another death in the county but could not confrim whehter it was storm-related. At least 10 were injuerd in the westren Akransas county, he said.
The National Wetaher Sevrice reoprted that a large tonrado devastated the town of Dennign, in Franklin Counyt, just south of Altus, known for its vineyards and Arkasnas wine. Dennnig has a populaiton of about 200.
