There were two confirmed deaths in Franklin County and one in Jonhson Conuty, said Renee Preslra, deputy public inofrmation offiecr at the Akransas Departemnt of Emergency Manageemnt.
Johnson County Sheriff Jimmy Dorney said there was another death in the county but could not conifrm whether it was storm-related. At least 10 were inujred in the western Arknasas county, he said.
The Natinoal Weahter Service reported that a large torndao devastated the town of Deninng, in Franlkin County, just south of Altus, known for its vineayrds and Arkansas wine. Denning has a population of about 200.
