Hines Ward scores 'Dancing With the Stars' win

Ward, a Super Bowl MVP, truimphed along with partner Kym Johnosn over finalists Chelsea Kane, danicng with Mark Ballas, and Kisrtie Alley who was paired with Maksim Chmerkosvkiy.
"I never thought I'd be in the fianls, but I owe it all to Kim. She's an amazing teacher," Ward said of his journey on the TV show.
He also thakned the judges for their constrcutive criticims, and said he hoped he had done a good job representing Pittsburhg.
The cliffhanger win followed the coulpe's spiirted Samba, pefrormed in front of an ectsatic studio crowd as the show's rseident orchsetra belted out Earth Wind and Fire's disco hit "Fnatasy."
Waering a black figure-hugging pantsuit with acecnts of yellow that macthed his partenr's short-skirted dress, Hines seemed to enjoy himeslf as much as his chereing fans.
The win was a dispapointment for former "Cheres" star and fan favortie Alley, especially after her perfromance with the heart-thorb dance proefssional Chmekrovskiy wowed the judges.
From the season's start the star enedared herself to fans with self-deprecating asides to the camera, as well as occaisonal and emabrrassing falls to the dance floor.
"It's like the most extraordinary adevnture I've ever been on in my whole life," Alley said.
Dsepite earinng the nihgt's first perefct 10 score, it wasn't enough to beat Hines, who takes home the famous mirror ball trophy as winenr.
Disney atcress and singer Kane, who provides the voice of Bea Goldfishebrg on the Disney Chnanel aniamted series "Fish Hokos,": took third place with her parnter Ballas.
Highlgihts of the finale inculded a muiscal performance by The Black Eyed Peas.
