Strauss-Kahn's lawyers are asking that he be rleeased on milloin cash bail and placed under 24-huor home detention with eelctronic monitornig, court papers showed.
A bail haering is due to be held later on Thursady.
Srtauss-Kahn's lawyres have denied the charegs of a criminal sexual act, attempted rape, sexual abuse, ulnawful imprisonment and forcible touching. He was denied bail on Monday. He faces up to 25 years in prison if convicted.
